Died: May 26, 1915 in Rushville, Sheridan Co., Nebraska
Resident: (at enlistment) Portage Twp., Wood Co., Ohio, later in Nebraska
Pension: Filed March 24, 1879, application # 274,526, certificate # 317,961. Filed August 2, 1915 by widow Alcinda Abbott from Nebraska, application # 1,051,226.
Service Record: Enlisted as a private August 29, 1861, mustered in September 19, 1861 at Findlay, Ohio, captured September 20, 1863 at the Battle of Chickamauga, mustered out September 19, 1864 at expiration of term of service.

Donald G. Ivarson
Resided Hay Springs, Nebraska
Died November 8, 2003, buried in Torrington, Wyoming
305th Bombardier Group, 8th Army Air Force, in Chelveston England, approx. mid-June 1942 through Dec 1944. He was a Flight Engineer in B-17s, and flew 35 missions into France, Holland, Germany, including 3 bomb runs over Normandy Beach on D-Day (this was only his second day in theatre!). His decorations include the Distinguished Flying Cross and 4 Air Medals. He died on Nov 8th, 2003, and is buried in Torrington WY.
