TIPS FOR STAGECOACH RIDERS
Sit in the seat closest to the driver, with your back to the horses. It may cause temporary seasickness, but you get half the bumps that the rear seat gets.
If the team of horses runs away, sit still and take your chances. If you jump, nine times out of ten times you'll get hurt.
Abstinence from liquor is requested. But if you must drink, share the bottle. To do otherwise makes you appear selfish.
If ladies are present, Gentlemen are urged to forego cigars and pipes as the odor of same is repugnant to the gentle sex. Chewing tobacco is permitted, but spit WITH the wind, not against it.
Forbidden topics for discussion include stagecoach robberies and Indian uprisings.
Do not hog the buffalo robes.
